Contest Terms and Conditions
1. These contest terms and conditions (these “T&Cs”) apply to all participants of the ROCK Action Facebook Contest (the “Contest”).
2. The Contest is organised by Rock Entertainment Holdings, BAM Asia Entertainment Network LLP (“Organiser”).
3. The Contest is hosted on ROCK Action Facebook Page.
4. Eligibility:
4.1 The Contest is open from 12am Singapore Time on 19 August 2024 to 11.59pm on 15 September 2024 Singapore Standard Time (the “Contest Period”).
4.2 The Contest is open to anyone residing in Singapore who is subscribed to ROCK Action, and who are aged eighteen (18) years old or above at the time of entry. Participants declare that by participating in the Contest, you are 18 years of age or over and are capable of entering into binding contracts and complying with these T&Cs.
4.3 Employees (and members of their immediate families) of BAM Asia Entertainment Network LLP and any other parties which are directly involved in organising, promoting or conducting the Contest are prohibited from entering the Contest.
4.4 Each participant’s household must be a subscriber to ROCK Action Channel through one of the following subscription packs: Singtel TV, or ROCK 24/7 on meWATCH. Additionally, participants must like and follow ROCK Action Facebook and Instagram before the contest winner announcement date.
4.5 Organiser reserves the sole and absolute discretion to exclude or disqualify any participant and/or submission from participating in the Contest.
5. Mechanics / Winners Selection:
5.1 In order to enter into the Contest, the participant must:
a) Give the most creative caption to the Spider-Man image on the contest Facebook post
b) Tell us when Spider-Man Specials will air on ROCK Action
c) Like and follow ROCK Action Facebook and Instagram account.
5.2 Each participant is entitled to submit more than one (1) contest entry; however, only the most creative caption that includes the correct telecast details will be considered.
5.3 Each participant must set his/her Facebook account visible to public in order to participate in the Contest.
5.4 At the end of the Contest, one (1) winner will be picked by the Organiser based on creativity and originality of the caption as well as the correct answer to the telecast details of Spider-Man Specials.
5.5 The winning entry for the Contest will be determined by Organiser ( as “Winner”) and the decision of Organiser shall be deemed final and irrefutable, and no correspondence will be entertained under any circumstances about the Contest or Organiser’s decisions.
6 Prizes:
6.1 The Winner is entitled to a Sony 43" X75K | 4K Ultra HD | High Dynamic Range (HDR) | Smart TV.
7. Prize Collection & Conditions:
7.1 Each Winner will be notified via email or phone by Rock Entertainment Holdings, BAM Asia Entertainment Networks LLP (the “Notification”) by 30 October 2024. The Winner must redeem his/her Prize in accordance with the instructions contained in the Notification.
7.2 Organiser reserves the sole and absolute discretion to post the Winners’ names and results on the Contest on Rock Entertainment Holdings communication platforms such as websites and social media.
7.3 If the Winner fails to respond in accordance with the Notification by the deadline specified, the Winner shall be deemed to have forfeited the Prize, and no further correspondence will be entertained under any circumstances.
7.4 The Winner must reply to the email as a form of acceptance of these T&Cs and release of liability form in respect of his/her use of the Prize, as a condition to his/her receipt of the Prize. The terms and conditions of the acknowledgment and release form are not subject to amendment. In the event of non-compliance with this paragraph, the Winner will be disqualified. The organiser reserves the right to substitute with another participant or cancel the Prize.
7.5 Organiser reserves the right to redistribute any unclaimed Prize to other participants or donate any unclaimed Prize or its equivalent value to any approved charitable organisation.
7.6 Each Prize or any part thereof, shall not be transferable, exchangeable, redeemable or substituted for cash or other benefits.
7.7 Organiser reserves the right, at any time in its sole and absolute discretion, to substitute, withdraw, add to or alter the Prizes or any part thereof without prior notice. Organiser is not responsible for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any participant entering the Contest or as a result of entering the Contest or accepting any prize.
7.8 The Winner’s acceptance of the Prize shall constitute a release and discharge of Organiser by him/her from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, and/or damages which the Winner may have, whether known or unknown at the present time, of any nature whatsoever, arising out of or relating to: (i) the Contest, (ii) personal injury and/or property damage, theft or loss suffered by the Winner as a result of the use and/or enjoyment of the Prize, and/or (iii) any tax liabilities in relation to the Contest, Prize and/or use or enjoyment of the same.
8. Personal Data:
8.1 By participating in the Contest, each participant agrees that Organiser may collect and use the participant’s personal data, as well as disclose their personal data, for various purposes in connection with the Contest, including without limitation to, facilitating his/her participation in the Contest, e.g. contacting each participant for Prize collection purposes as well as sharing with third party to verify participant’s channel subscription details. Such personal data may include without limitation the participant’s name, telephone number and email address, as well as his/her picture, videos, photographs or likeness.
8.2 Organiser reserves the right to use information of any participant and/or the Winners, including without limitation to names, pictures, videos, photographs, likeness, quotes and/or sound bites, in Organiser’s marketing, publicity or promotional materials at its sole discretion without notice to the participants or the Winners and without any fee being paid, or require any participant or Winner to appear in any form of marketing, publicity or promotional activities without any fee being paid. Organiser may also use each participant’s personal data to conduct analysis on his/her use of products and services so as to help Organiser improve, review, develop and efficiently manage the products and services offered to the participants.
8.3 By participating in the Contest, each participant consents to Organiser’s and its partners’ collection, use and disclosure of the participant’s personal data for the purposes and in the manner described above.
9. All date and time references contained in these T&Cs are based on the Singapore Standard Time Zone.
10. Organiser’s decisions on the Contest and the Winners shall be final and no correspondence will be entertained under any circumstances. In the event of a dispute, any individual’s entitlement to participate in the Contest and any participant’s entitlement to the Prize shall be subject to the sole discretion and final determination of Organiser.
11. Organiser is not responsible to the Winners for their redemption of the Prizes. Organiser shall not be liable to any of the Winners for disappointment, damages, injuries, losses (including indirect or consequential loss), costs or expenses, lost profits, revenue, business or anticipated savings suffered or incurred by any Winner arising out of or in connection with the redemption or use of the Prize.
12. Organiser reserves the right to terminate or modify the Contest (including these T&Cs) at any time prior to the conclusion of the Contest Period by publishing any of such termination or modification on the Site. Participation in the Contest will constitute acceptance of these T&Cs, and any amendments thereof.
13. These T&Cs shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and parties agree to be bound by the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
