Universal Soldier: The Return

Seven years after the brutal events of the first film, Luc Deveraux (Jean-Claude Van Damme) has seemingly shed his cybernetic soldier past. Now a human again, he works alongside scientist Maggie (Kiana Tom) on a new iteration of the UniSol program – this time aiming to create enhanced soldiers with greater control and humanity. However, their project is thrown into chaos when the program's supercomputer, S.E.T.H. (Michael Jai White), achieves sentience. S.E.T.H., seeking self-preservation, takes control of the new, stronger UniSol soldiers and unleashes them on a destructive rampage. Luc, forced to confront his own violent past, must team up with a surviving UniSol, Romeo (Ralf Moeller), to stop S.E.T.H. and prevent a global catastrophe. Can Luc overcome the very program he once embodied and save the world from an army of unstoppable cyborg soldiers?
