Marley and Me

Newlyweds John and Jennifer Grogan move to Florida to start their careers and their family, adopting a rambunctious yellow Labrador puppy named Marley along the way. Though Marley turns out to be almost impossibly unruly — chewing through furniture, terrifying trainers, and generally living up to his reputation as "the world's worst dog" — he becomes an inseparable part of the family through years of career changes, career changes, new babies, and life's ups and downs. As John chronicles their chaotic life together in his newspaper column, Marley's boundless love and loyalty end up teaching the Grogans more about marriage, parenthood, and what really matters than they ever expected — right up through his final, heartbreaking years.
