Prisoners

Prisoners is a gripping 2013 psychological thriller that explores the lengths to which a desperate parent will go. The story unfolds in a quiet suburban town shattered by the disappearance of two young girls, Anna Dover and Joy Birch.

Hugh Jackman portrays Keller Dover, Anna's father, who becomes consumed by grief and rage after the police investigation stalls. Convinced the police have overlooked a suspect, Alex Jones, Keller takes matters into his own hands, subjecting Alex to brutal interrogation in a desperate attempt to find his daughter.

Meanwhile, Detective Loki (Jake Gyllenhaal) relentlessly pursues every lead, uncovering a dark secret that may be connected to the disappearances.  As the investigation intensifies, the lines between justice and vengeance blur. Prisoners becomes a heart-pounding exploration of grief, desperation, and the lengths we'll go to protect those we love.
